Manuel Andrade, 92, passed away peacefully on December 1st, 2024. Born on 04/10/1932 on the island of Fogo, Cape Verde to the late Leon Andrade and Apolónia Barros.
Acting as the father to his younger siblings Augusta Andrade, Izilda Andrade, Alzira Andrade, Daniel Andrade, Alberto Andrade, Regina Andrade, Manuel took on the responsibilities of a father from a young age. Leaving Fogo for Portugal to continue work and as a method to provide for his family.
Residing mainly in Central Falls, Rhode Island but reaching the hearts of many throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Manuel was the loving husband to Francisca Goncalves-Andrade, Father of Maria Rosa, Valdimiro Andrade, Anita Andrade, Joao Andrade, Carlos Andrade and Antoni Andrade. A loved grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Manuel was a devoted believer of his Catholic faith and long time follower of Jesus Christ. So while he has left his many friends and family tearful and longing he is now in a better place but will forever have a place in our hearts and memories.

A golden heart has stopped beating and hard working hands are not at rest. God has broken our hearts to prove to us that he only takes the best.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th, 2024 from 4pm-7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. His funeral will be Saturday, December 7th, 2024 from the Keefe Funeral Home starting at 8:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave. Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence RI.
